Visa

 

For the foreign participants of the Workshop to be able to enter Russia a mandatory requirement is getting a humanitarian visa in the Russian Embassy/Consulate.

The tourist and the business visas are not allowed.
The humanitarian visa is issued on the basis of an invitation letter, which will be sent by the Conference Organizing Committee. The invitation letter is prepared in 2 weeks for residents of the USA, China, Japan, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Finland, France, Croatia, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, Estonia.

For the invitation letter preparation it is necessary to send the following personal data at the address msr18@sscc.ru:
• Passport copy (the scanned page with photo). The passport should be valid for a minimum of six months since leaving Russia.
• Affiliation (complete address)
• Position
• Fax number
• Phone number
• The city and the country where the visa is to be prepared (in the Russian Embassy/Consulate)
• Proposed date of  arrival to Russia
• Proposed date of departure from Russia
IMPORTANT: For residents of other countries (not included in the list of the above-mentioned countries), the invitation letter preparation will take 1.5 months.

In addition to indicated personal data it is necessary to send a complete copy of the passport (including all blank pages).

The Conference Participants from the Union of Independent States do not need the Russian visa. The invitation letters will be sent them by the Organizing Committee.
