Akhunova E.R. Tomilov N.A.Studies across museology and ethnographyReporter: Tomilov N.A.
The topic of the article is connected with the question of the role of the use of museum objects in ethnographic research. This theme fits into the framework of a special direction - ethnographic museology. The article deals with the sub-disciplines that have arisen as a result of the interaction of museology and ethnography - ethnographic museum studies, museum ethnography and museum ethnography, as well as the definition of their object-object spheres. Examples of the introduction of the museum subjects on the culture of the Tatars of Western Siberia, which are stored in two Omsk museums and published in volumes of the scientific series "Culture of the peoples of the world in the ethnographic collections of Russian museums", reveal the scope of these materials and further study of the place and role of museums subjects in scientific research ethnographic direction.
