Topological structure of attractors and Morse decomposition

The global behavior of a dynamical system can be described by its Morse decompositions or its attractor and repeller configurations. Morse decomposition is an effective technique for analyzing the topological structure of a dynamical system in a reliable manner. This technique yields results that are not susceptible to small perturbations.
In this paper, several fundamental results about the structure of attractors will be presented and a new result about the components of Morse decomposition.
