Level crossing rate of the ratio of the product of two random α - μ variables and α - μ random variable

In this paper the ratio of the product of two α – μ random variables and α – μ random variable is considered. The product of two α – μ random variables in the nominator can represent desired signal envelope subjected, simultaneously to two α – μ multipath fading. The α – μ random variable in the denominator of the ratio can represent interference envelope affected to α – μ multipath fading. In this paper, the joint probability density function of the ratio of the product of two α – μ random variables and α – μ random variables is obtained. This joint probability density function can be used for evaluation of level crossing rate of output signal in wireless communication systems operating over composited α – μ multipath fading in the presence of cochannel interference affected to α – μ multipath fading. Then, in this paper, the level crossing rate of the ratio of the product of two α – μ random variables and α – μ random variable is obtained. This result can be used for evaluation of average fade duration of wireless communication system.
